I am glad you asked! We pick our avocado leaves from our own grove and neighboring groves in the area. Every batch of leaves are sent off to be tested prior to picking to ensure 100% purity.

As the owner of Avocado Tea Co., I drink our tea everyday. I also make sure my family members are drinking it for the benefits of the natural antioxidants contained in the leaf. I have a vested interest in making sure our tea is one of the cleanest and purist teas available.
As a side note, we have also recently been awarded the Purity Award from the Clean Label Project. The Clean Label Project Purity Award is given to brands that out of the hundreds who are tested and are proven to contain the purist products.
How does it work?
The Clean Label Project is an independent consumer welfare organization. They purchases products at retail and evaluate the products for substances that would never be found on a product label. These substances include chemicals of concern and industrial and environmental toxins and contaminants (like heavy metals, pesticide residues, and plasticizers) that have the long-term potential to adversely affect health and well-being. Clean Label Project uses benchmarked data to compare individual product test results to the test results of the best-selling products in the same product category.
